Buzaid- If Money Was Not an Issue

If money was not an issue I would choose to still get an education, to still learn how to do things and understand new concepts. I would get the best education possible and learn from the most knowledgeable teachers.  I would study abroad in different parts of the world, from Africa, to Europe, across Asia, and down through India, just taking my time to graduate from college.  I would hope to make friends in different countries, learn to speak in their languages, and come to love their families as my own.

My next move, five years later, would be to join the Peace Corps. My new found wide range of knowledge would aid me helping those less fortunate. My goals would be to have an impact on people’s lives and to make changes for the better. During my time I would hope to learn about the people who would be surrounding me. I would want to interview them, document the stories they would have to tell, and maybe even ask what they would do if money was not an issue.

Ten years after that, I hope to have fallen in love and begin to settle down somewhere fitting for my personality.  I would return to college to finalize my teaching degree in art education. Eventually, once I have all my certifications, I would apply for a teaching job at a local high school and share everything I could about the world with my students, as well as encourage them to go explore the world themselves.

Leyva: Dream Big

My dream profession is to be a dentist that travels all over the world to help people that cannot afford to get their teeth fixed. I would get paid to visit every third world country in this world. Travelling around the world is one of my greatest dreams and being able to do that while helping others in need would be wonderful. I would not like to be alone in this job so I would definitely like to take a team with me; we would have a van that has all the equipment necessary to complete our jobs and serve as our mode of transportation. Every person could come in and we would check and fix any dental problem they have. Noindividual payment from the people would be necessary for our services, since we were already paid before we arrived.Although my profession would require me to travel throughout most of the year, it would be feel great knowing I am helping many people.
After about five years of being a traveling dentist, I would reside in a state in the United States. I would then open my own practice and be the head dentist. I would have probably two other dentists, five dental assistances, and two receptionists to help me. My practice would be open from Monday to Saturday and we would all receive Sundays off. During this time I would put all my time and effort into my practice.
Ten years after I have opened my practice, I want to start a family and only check up on the office once a week. I want to get married and have two children and probably adopt three children. I want to live comfortably in a nice house that has enough rooms for everyone in my household, live in a nice neighborhood where my children can ride their bicycles to school, and overall live a nice comfortable life with my family.

Norton: Music Festival Production

If I had unlimited money from the job, I would love to work in music festival production. I aspire to work on music festivals because I love the idea of making a small world for a weekend where people can escape from their everyday lives, experience new things, and listen to good music. Not only am I extremely interested in the subject currently, but also I am already pursuing this dream, money excluded. I am following my aspirations in music festivals by volunteering at Vodoo, researching other festivals, and exploring possible internship opportunities. I haven’t been to many major festivals. My first one, Austin City Limits (ACL), was this October, and Voodoo will be my second festival. I’m really excited to work at Voodoo because I’d like to undergo the real experience of how to put on a music festival. I strongly hope that I end up loving my Voodoo experience, so I can better narrow my job options in the music industry.

If I were to be doing music festivals in five years, I hope to be on a production team. I do not think I’ll be ready to produce an entire festival in five years, but I believe I would be well-suited to do marketing or planning for the festival. I understand that this job can be gritty, stressful, and tiring, but giving music-lovers an unforgettable festival experience like I had at ACL seems like a wonderful reward. Plus, I’ll get to meet and work with big name artist, which I know I would love.

If I were to be doing music festivals in 10 years, I hope to either be producing small festivals locally or working as a leader on a team for big music festivals like Coachella or Lollapalooza. If I’m lucky, maybe I’ll be asked to work on festivals internationally because I really love to travel!

Caire- The Wedding Planner Dream

If my fantasy, being well off and successful, could come true, I would be a wedding planner. I have always loved happy family time moments, and weddings bring two families together and celebrate. These occasions are perfect. I watch a tv show on the channel We TV called My Fair Wedding with David Tutera. The show is about a very famous wedding planner, David Tutera, who creates a dream wedding for each couple that comes on the show. I also have a Pinterest that helps me get ideas for my own wedding. Yes, I am the girl who has always dreamt of a fairy tale wedding. I want to be a wedding planner because I have wonderful ideas that I can bring to the table for a wedding. This career might be stressful, but well worth it.

It is now five years later and I went through with the wedding planner fantasy. I am working for a small wedding planning company in New York called Something Borrowed, Something to Help You. I am more like a secretary at the moment. I have to work my way up. I am doing pretty well because I started off as an unpaid intern a year ago, so my dream seems to be working out. I am hoping that I will be a let o do a job on my own own day. Because I have seen how the wedding planners at this company handle their clients over twenty times, I feel like I have grasped the idea of what it means to be a wedding planner. Hopefully one day I can be known for my work.

Finally, I am almost a decade into the career! I achieved so much in the last few years. I worked my way up to the title of wedding planner. Finally, no more secretary work! I am currently planning a wedding. This wedding I am currently planning needs all of my attention because the bride wants a festive, Italian feel wedding, with wide open spaces. I came to California because there is a venue open for a wedding near a wine vineyard. I thought it was perfect. This job so far has been nothing but brain power, stress, and complete and total happiness. Hopefully in fifteen years of working, I can be known for my creative thinking like David Tutera.

These are all hopes and dreams that I pray come true. The wedding planner life would be stressful but rewarding. It would be rewarding because I help couples start their lives together with, what is hopefully, a fantastic celebration. Also, if I can make good money doing what I love the most, life I feel could not get any better.

Morales: If Money Was not a Problem

Money has a lot of power in this world. Money controls everything in every country. Everything we trade through country lines depends on how much value it has to it. In a smaller view, if money was not an issue everyone would have a very strong education. Many of us will be helping the world develop into a place we can all live in no matter what race or physical attribute you have. Arrogance in those of "higher class" will not be seen.Professionals will also be created every day . Poverty in schools will not be seen, drugs will not be sold for profit, and government officials won't sway to certain ideas just because of the amount of money they are being given.
In five years, I see myself being a sportscaster for ESPN or SportCenter. I would like to have a successful husband and have kids. My living space will preferably be penthouse in New York City. Then my space will transfer over to a four bedroom house with two baths.  I will also work with a group of people and work on networking across the country. Therefore, my career will expand and I will make more profits. I have always wanted to start a non-profit organization focused on fighting against Bullying. Most of my profits will also go to that organization to help children around the world.
In ten years, I will have established my career and hope to be a staple figure on a major sports network as a sportscaster. At that point in my life, I would like to settle down suburbs in a large family home as I said before. With the network I created I will be starting new Television Networks around the world that solely base themselves on Sportscasting. With my organization I want to have established Bullying as a worldwide social issue. My organization will be one of the top notch non-profits that give psychiatric help to those kids who have suffered from bullying. Also, enforce to all county schools to watch out for this issue in their schools. They could establish hotlines and maybe even blogs so that teachers will know who to watch out for. At this point in my life my kids will be older and my marriage will be going strong.

Mo Money solving problems

Money is what makes me do many things. I hate saying that but it is true. Money is very important. Too important since I cannot do everything I want to do because of money issues.  So what would I do if money was not a factor and I would make money doing it? I would help people. If money is not a factor, why not help people in need. But helping people is a bit broad. I have two, five year plans to help a variety people in need.
Nonprofits are great for communities and I would love to start one. This is my first idea for when I start one. In the first five years, I want to target child education and childhood obesity by help building 5 brand new middle schools with a park right by in different states across America. I feel a great way to help children around the country, is for them to learn and get active. In five years, I would want to accomplish this, with a new school and park built every year.
For my goal in 10 years, I would like to target homelessness. Homelessness is a huge disgrace and a major eyesore around the country. We need to beautify our country again while addressing a major problem. For this issue, over the next 5 years, I would like to build 5 new state of the art homeless shelters. Instead of just feeding and sheltering, we would do those things and help them recover from any reasons they were homeless in the first place. This includes giving them addiction help, financial advice, and a new outfit so they can actually try to find a job. This would not be the type of project most could take on because there is no profit but without having to worry about money, this would be the perfect type of project to help people.

I love helping people but I cannot help them as much as I would like because of financial reasons.  If money was not an issue, I would do everything in my power to help them. If I am making money doing anything, helping people is an easy answer.  Always spread the wealth and that is what I would like to do.

Hixon- pursuing my dream

I have a passion for helping people, no matter what the problem is, and I love traveling. Before I die I hope to have traveled around the entire world. I want to learn how other people live in other parts of the world so I can compare and contrast our livelihood. If money didn't matter I would travel to third world countries being a counseling psychologist. I would love to help those who have problems they feel like they alone could not be able to solve but do not have the money to receive the necessary help. In doing this I hope I can help people better themselves then later they help someone else who is going through the same thing they went through.
In five years, I will be twenty-two years old and hopefully in graduate school. By this time I would have already studied abroad in Spain and one other country at least two times. While studying abroad I would be doing internships that would help me pursue my dream of helping the misfortunate.  Also I will be investing in my own practice located in Africa. Ten years from now, I will be twenty-seven years old with my own practice as a counseling psychologist providing help to those who need it most. I will have a house in Africa and a wonderful husband and child on the way. I now provide internships for college students who also want to pursue a career similar to mine.

If money didn't matter - Anjeska Colon

The first thing I would do if money did not matter was take a train, no matter where it's going. My biggest dream is to travel the world. My favorite word is wanderlust because it is a desire to travel and understand one's existence. If education did not exist, we could learn a lot just by traveling and I would not mind not having any education. I would love to travel and take as many pictures as I can so I can hang them up in a room at my house. While traveling I would own an island. My second home is the beach and I will do anything to raise a family there.

Five years from now I see myself traveling the world to see the difference between places. Every place has a story and that would not be a better way to experience and to live a happy life. I want to get lost in the right place just to discover things I would have never imagined. I would be meeting people around the world and learning from their culture and how comparing it with mine. We are all explorers trying to find ourselves. "Travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.”

Ten years from now I will be traveling to make a difference. One of my passion's is to help others and I would love to be in another country doing it. I will have my own program in some part of the world for people who need help. I would be in their shoes for a while and I know I would learn how to appreciate what I have. Nothing makes me happier than to make others happy. If we want true change, we have to be the change.

Kenner: If Money did not Matter

If I lived in a world where money was irrelevant, I would be a fiction writer. I have always loved writing so I would not mind making a career out of it. I do not know if my books would catch an audience, but I still get money either way so I am okay.

In five years, I am still a writer. I have never imagined that my stories would be published but they are. My two books where both number one sellers when they were released. I have been to two book signings and I am receiving letters from my fans. I go to sleep every night knowing that people all over the world are enjoying my books. The readers are now not limited to only friends and family members. I have so much money now that I can afford to live in Milan, Italy.

In ten years, I have become very famous. I have now five successful books published. My first book even has gotten a movie adaptation. I can now google my name and a Wikipedia page is one of the results. People now buy my books now just because I am the author. My books are also fairly popular in other foreign countries. I still live in Italy but now I am married.

FALU's: Welcome to My Wonderland

In my alternate universe money is not important for people’s survival, there are no social statuses, no bills to pay, no hunger, no diseases of any kind, and everything is accessible to everyone. I, a very passionate person, I will have fun for the rest of my life in this universe, ready to take all of my dream land for myself, and to do whatever I want. My life will never be boring because I would not have problems with money, and I will dedicate it to developing my artistic abilities to work in fashion designs, creating comic book magazines, and making animated movies. While pursuing my artsy path, I will be able to entertain and to tell stories to change people’s lives in positive ways through my drawings, paintings and animations.
In five years, I will be working with all the directors, editors, and publishers and to make my dreams reality. In my wonderland I will celebrate Halloween every single day of the year. I will buy all kinds of costumes and throw parties all over the cities. I will pass around a rule, called “The Normal Day” holiday, where anybody can dress as regular people. Then I will travel on my yacht to my Island named “Fucking Paradise”, where vodka, rum, tequila, margaritas and pina coladas are going to be everywhere. I, the queen and ruler of this island will not have any age restrictions on partying, drinking or traveling.

In ten years, I will be living in “Fucking Paradise” island inside my zombie proof fortress. Zombies will be for combat training only. They do not spread the zombie virus, although instead of eating people, they will eat marihuana. In my office, I will be managing all my art galleries placed around the world, and directing my animation studios. Then I would hold balls and dinners with all the presidents and kings of the world. I will also build art schools all over the countries and teach kids how to have fun through art. Also, once a year, I will choose the best art students of my schools and take them on a tour to my planet. “Planet Marcicus” will have rivers of chocolate, fountains of Vodka, and marshmallow beds.

If Money Was Not an Issue

There are two things I would like to do if money was not an issue. I have always liked to go to concerts, because it is a new experience to most people, including me. The first thing I would like to do is to build festivals around the world, for people to go, listen to music, and enjoy the moment and not to worry about anything. The second thing I would like to do is play music, electronic music, because people enjoy a crazy moment and electronic music brings the crazy inside people. With those two things my life would be perfect.
In five years, I view my building festival industry moving along. Getting to know artists, learning how the business works, traveling around the world to see how festival industries do their work in other places. In my electronic music performing, I would get better and better at mixing tracks, and even sharing some of my own personal productions for people to enjoy. Since I wouldn't worry about finance issues, I wouldn't care if people like or not what I do. If people enjoy what I do, good for them if not, is their loss.

Ten years from now I wish I would learn enough to be the one guy to call and let me do what I like to do, which is to build the best festivals in the world. For the playing electronic music part, I wish I would just go into a club and just play music for people. If people want to pay me for my music playing, good, but I would definitely do it for free. The reason why I would do it for free, is because I believe that music should be enjoyed for what it is, wherever you are, music should not be played for personal gain, I defeats the purpose of music. If these two things come true, I would be the happiest man in the world.
