Buzaid: What defines my generation?

                              Defining my Generation

Today's youth spends a majority of their time with a technological device. Whether it be surfing the web, watching TV, listening to Jay Z's new mix tape, my generation is attached to their IPhone, laptop, and or television. Young individuals are well aware of the excessive dependency they have on technology. Due to this dependency, they are constantly badgered by adults. However, adults are at fault just as much as today's youth when it comes to depending on tech-savvy devices. Humans are relying more and more on technology for everyday life. My generation grew up during the boom of technology and the internet: the 90s and early 2000s. Technology has become a source of entertainment and socializing. Social media has created a new level of interaction between people, a connection where interests can be shared quickly without fully getting to know someone. Past generations are not use to these impersonal interactions. Technology can define my generation, but it is not a definition by choice. Although my generation did not create the technology of today, we are the generation who thrives on such advancement.

  1. Gabby,
In your posts, stick to the simple essay format - intro, body, conclusion. Also, carefully proofread your work. For example, can devices be "tech-savvy"? Probably not.
